All functionality should be restored. This effect was likely a result of the GitHub issues that occurred on 2024-08-14.

There is an issue with the graphql endpoint that the site retrieves UI components from. This may prevent dataset summary pages from loading. Data can still be viewed and retrieved from the all specimens page.

The system has successfully restarted. All users should be able to use the system normally.

This system should restart automatically within half an hour. An update will be provided if this does not occur.

GBIF services have been restored. No explanation is available at this time. GBIF is reporting unstable or slow systems, and an unstable dependency with GitHub. GitHub has recognized the issue on their status page.
